Never in a million years did I envision that I would fall in love three times in my life. First I fell in love with my best friend, my husband Andrew. Then we had a son, Brighton, who took my heart all over again. And now, a third time, my sweet sweet Emmeline. Our baby girl, born February 6, 2010.
I fell completely and swiftly in love with my baby girl. In so many ways, she is everything that I hoped and prayed for every day while I was pregnant. I would have loved any baby that she would have been I’m sure, but she is all and more than we could have hoped for. Of course, she is only 3 weeks old today…so check back with me in about 13 years and I might tell a different story.
